This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase. 5 |

I was looking for a simple and solid USB-powered MIDI keyboard controller to work with Pro Tools and SampleTank that has good action and doesn't feel like a toy. The M-Audio Keystation 61 is exactly that. The semi-weighted keys feel almost like a real piano, the design is sleek and ergonomic, as a string player with little piano chops, I feel comfortable getting around on this keyboard and not hitting lots of accidental notes that I would on a synth action keyboard. I also like that it doesn't require a driver, so hopefully will work through many future OS upgrades. 5 |

Easily portable, and USB bus powered, this is a great high capacity for professional photographers to back up image assignments while on the road. Perfect peace of mind knowing that your important images are stored somewhere else other than your computer. Fast and easy. You can create and store entire assignment-specific Lightroom catalogues and then just transfer them to your studio computer when you return home. 5 |

I have had 7-Port Powered USB Hub for about 2 weeks now and it is doing everything that I needed. I didn't know there was a 10 port or I would have gotten that. I may need a second one for another computer so I will get the 10 port then. It is well made and works just fine. If you need it get this one or the 10 port. 5 |

I used this Xcellon AC-powered USB 3.0 hub to replace a computer-powered USB 3.0 hub. This AC-powered hub has been working fine for several weeks with USB devices working properly on my computer with no issues. With my previous computer-powered hub (also by Xcellon) a USB 3.0 flash drive was often not recognized by my computer, and I often got false error messages about USB devices not working when they were. AC power seems to make all the difference. 5 |

Undoubtedly a great product but does appear a direct connection to the computer versus a USB extender. On the other hand, some powered USB may support it fine. Remember to reboot your Mac after connecting to another USB extender as the device driver kernel requirements may not be able to dynamically alter the changed addressable address. Also, it may be that this SuperDrive requires a bit more power than provided by many generic equivalent drives. Of course, Apple strives to provide a great product and I suspect this is one of them. 5 |
