Computer Microphone Works But Not Speakers

I use this to power my outdoor speakers off my computer, and it works great!!!!!

I always hated buying speakers for the computer; they always seem to be problematic. But these plugged in USB and worked without having to restart. They sound great and the volume controls and mute are easy to use. Very happy with this purchase.

System works great. High quality camera, microphone and speakers. Can't ask for any more than that.

use it with a microphone to video it works just fine, excellent bang for your money, I also use it with speakers.

Excellent display. Works seamlessly with MacBook in clamshell mode. Wish it had speakers and microphone like my old iMac display. Maybe it does and I haven't found them.

I use this on my surveillance system with 3 NVR and a workstation. It works great, especially like the ability to share the speakers and microphone between all 4 pieces of gear.

Not sure why Sony didn't include ones of these with the kit (possibly to make you buy their microphone). But works great for the cheap shotgun mic I have on my rig. If your mic is still too small, it's too easy to just put a piece of craft foam around the outside of it.
