Computer Monitor Adapter Cables

The Viewsonic VG1655 is an amazing monitor. It feels solid and the image is bright, sharp, saturated, and truly gorgeous. The screen's 16:9 aspect ratio allows multiple app windows to be displayed simultaneously while remaining readable, even with the Windows Scale display setting at 100% rather than 125%. The rear has a swing-out support that can prop up the monitor horizontally or vertically. The magnetic snap-on screen protector is actually quite rigid when mounted and should provide ample protection. The included cables should handle any connection scheme. My application is as a part of a telescope control computer that can be taken into the field. The computer is a mini-PC that normally runs off a 12Vdc adapter. The monitor can be powered from one of the computer's USB ports. With a 12V/6000mAh lithium battery, the entire package will run for about four hours. Haven't tried it yet with a 12V sealed lead acid battery, but I suspect up time to be longer. Overall, the package is a bit more cluttered than using a laptop, but the performance and flexibility are greater, IMO. Minor criticisms: 1) the included cables are all longer, thicker, and more rigid than seems necessary, but that might be an advantage for some, and 2) built-in speaker volume and quality are a bit wimpy, but they are included and still consistent with how the monitor will be used. The Viewsonic VG1655 is one of the few products I've purchased that so well exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

The monitor works as indicated. The only thing that was not mentioned was to use with my computer I had to use both HDMI and Video cables. Once I used them, the monitor worked perfectly. The touch is responsive.

This adapter works perfectly for connecting a DSLR to an external monitor. I've had several cables (miniHDMI to HDMI) completely fall apart and I needed something reliable. The great thing about the adapter is that it rotates to whatever degree works best for the HDMI cable running out to the monitor. Plus, you can usually find regular HDMI cables a whole lot easier than miniHDMI to HDMI cables.

Works perfectly. I got a new monitor for my computer to display dual screens for work and needed an adapter to connect the HDMI cable. This puppy worked perfectly without breaking the bank.  [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I had it plugged into my computer and then used a gigaware adapter to convert from Mini DisplayPort into DisplayPort (which is what my monitor had available). This adapter worked fine from my usb-c enabled iMac and MacBook too, into an older 24 inch Samsung monitor at monitor's resolution (2560x1440).

I am not an it person. Simply read on line how to easily hook up a second monitor to my home computer. Person recommended using an external USB VGA adapter. I made sure the connection would work with my monitor, purchased adapter, hooked up, setup and everything worked perfect. Couldn't have been easier. Perfect.

Love the computer so far but never got the monitor.

Use this for light cables and computer cables. They do the job well.
