I had it plugged into my computer and then used a gigaware adapter to convert from Mini DisplayPort into DisplayPort (which is what my monitor had available). This adapter worked fine from my usb-c enabled iMac and MacBook too, into an older 24 inch Samsung monitor at monitor's resolution (2560x1440). 5 |

I am not an it person. Simply read on line how to easily hook up a second monitor to my home computer. Person recommended using an external USB VGA adapter. I made sure the connection would work with my monitor, purchased adapter, hooked up, setup and everything worked perfect. Couldn't have been easier. Perfect. 5 |

I always used my IPad for most of my computer needs, but I decided to do my own taxes this year. I felt more secure doing my taxes on a laptop rather than the iPad. As a senior, I was happy that my Apple account transferred to the laptop, and I was able to negotiate the laptop with a minimal learning curve.
