Computer Monitor And Cord Labeled Buttons

Replaced a previous model ( which had a screen and more buttons) with this, and it just works! Simple on off, labeled outlets, just have to let it charge the first time for 8 hours! 5 |

Any extension cord that is labeled Intended for use on construction sites is no ordinary cord. I bought two of them for connecting between a power inverter and my monolight strobes. Having power taps along the cord length is perfect for putting lights where you need them. No more snaking a cord to a central point and then branching from there. With this one you snake the cord to where the lights are going, and plug in as needed. The plugs are spaced every 9 feet, so six plugs including the end of the cord. The green power-on indicator lights show where the plugs are in the dark, but aren't so bright that they're likely to show up in a photo lit with strobes. If you really don't want to see them, wrap that part in some electical/ gaffer's/ duct tape. The lights shine into the outlets, too, so you can see where you're plugging. The 12-gauge wire is larger than in many house circuits. That also means the cord is heavier and bulkier than most. But, when safety is important, this is the way to go. Note that the cord includes an adapter if you're connecting it to a normal 15A outlet. I highly recommend this if you're going to be outdoors, if you need distributed plugs, and you're going to be drawing some significant current. 5 |

Opened up so much space on my desk that was being taken up by a monitor stand and my laptop! Only critique is that the parts were not labeled as they were in the instructions, but I still managed to put it together by myself. 5 |

heavy duty cord. safety release buttons on connectors are nice. better solution than DVI when used with linear display monitors doing color sensitive work. 5 |
Engineer's Take | 2024-09-19 07:36:31 |
Very nice headset, and very comfortable to wear (light; snug, but not overly so, against your ears). It does a nice job noise-cancelling on my end - with two settings to choose from - and people on the other end of meetings/calls say I sound good with no background noise even though I work in an open office with a lot of coworkers around. I like the fact that it is a USB-C headset but with a USB-A adapter permanently attached for when you want to use the headset with an older computer or device without USB-C. I also like that there are volume up/down and mute buttons on the cord. I don't use the "Teams" button to answer calls as I tend to just use my mouse to click on Teams calls since my mouse tends to be closer to my fingers than the headset cord buttons. I do have two suggestions for improvement: 1) offer an "over the ear" version in addition to this "on the ear" design as this would help even more to reduce distracting sounds in your own background. 2) allow the user to adjust the amount of sidetone (hearing your own voice in your headset), preferably via the buttons on the cord (as opposed to some sort of app the user needs to install) Thanks. 5 |

I like the fact that the mouse is lightweight. It has plenty of adjustments for Speed and sensitivity so that your computer can utilize it properly. It is a little larger than most mice so having average size hands might seem a bit awkward but it's usable. Material choice is great a UBS cord provided is strong it was a good choice to make braided cord. The programmable buttons is convenient for those that need it I personally disabled the two side buttons because my thumb kept pushing one in. But it's a good value well made and very adaptable to your needs 5 |

This product has definitely helped my productivity. I live in an apartment so anything that is average sized and portable is the way to go. For those who are wondering, like I was, the magnets are removed by heating with a hair dryer for a couple of seconds, to heat and loosen the adhesive, so that you can use a tool with a thin, flattened end to pry/lift it off. I'm using it with my work laptop so my main concern was how the magnets could be removed seamlessly and leave no damage. The USB part is a tiny bit long for my laptop so you have to be careful if it doesn't fit perfectly. I had a little trouble at the beginning when the cord would come out and stop the dual screen. I just have to be extra mindful of where I plug in the USB so that there is minimal movement. I wish the part of the cord that plugs into the portablr screen didn't cover the brightness buttons, or perhaps the buttons could be positioned differently. 5 |
