I switched to a Mac Studio recently after spending the last 10 years editing video on iMac, and this monitor holds up incredibly well. No, it is not a 5K Retina display. However, it is about $1,000 less expensive than an Apple Display, and after using it for two weeks, I'm not noticing any major differences. The color and the resolution are high quality and very suitable for editing 4K video. This monitor also connects directly to the Mac Studio through a USB-C, and it started right up the first time. (I had read reviews that firmware needed to be updated on the monitor to use the USB-C connection, but I didn't not experience this). The 31.5 display is also a nice upgrade over the 27 iMac - that extra bit of real estate is always welcome. It takes up about the same amount of space on my desk as the iMac did. The matte screen is also great. The Retina Displays were too glossy with too many reflections, whereas this monitor minimizes and soften reflections. I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to an Apple Display, I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor.

This cable works. Nothing else to say; it's a cable. Display port is on the computer end, DVI on the monitor end.

Just wanted to share how happy I am with this laptop monitor attachment. The amount of thoughtful design that went into it is astonishing. It has been the perfect addition to my work-from-home COVID minimalist office. Here's what I like most: - The screen is bright, HD, and super sharp - The display is lightweight and snaps on to the back of my laptop via strong magnets - The monitor can be used both in landscape mode, or folded back in portrait mode (my favorite orientation) - Powered and plug-and-play in Windows 10 via USB C This was so easy to setup. I literally did not have to install any drivers (Win10). I just plugged it in (USB-C cable included) and it instantly got recognized as an additional display. It collapses very compactly and makes it easy to drag around my house (or take to meetings post-Covid). Everything about this was well though out, and the design is perfect. I am so happy with this and I highly recommend it!

This monitor is quite good, especially for the price. It's missing power delivery and a USB hub, but again not an issue for the price. Solid stand and minimal bezel. Good color and sharpness. An important note for Mac users: By default, the OS will check the High Dynamic Range box in the Display preferences. Be sure to UNcheck that box, otherwise most of the on-monitor controls will be locked out and the color will look bad and severally oversaturated. It is impossible to calibrate unless you un-check HDR. With HDR unchecked and the Picture mode (on-monitor controls) this monitor will run in DCI-P3 mode and calibrate very nicely. (Calibrated with x-rite i1 display pro and basICColor display 6)

This is my 1st BenQ monitor (full disclosure). Was not sure if this BenQ would live up to the hype but I have been pleased so far. Buying this exact monitor again after B&H's Rosh Hashana Holiday Closing. Using with 10-core CPU/ 32-core GPU Mac Studio and love the combination. Speakers are superior to the built-in Mac Studio speakers. Initially considered it over the Apple Studio Display due to price (over 50% less) and bang for buck features. This monitor does not have web cam like Apple Studio Display but built in mic has strong clarity and fidelity. I have also used with PS5 in 120Hz mode (for compatible games) and it delivered. PVP FPS feel very responsive, a noticeable improvement and more submersed when compared to 60Hz mode. I can spend more time going into all features but may not do this monitor justice. See images of LED back-side enhancements (cool ambience) . Provided photos of screen to show level of glare and comparison between multiple applications. Screen brightness isn't the best compared to others but works for my residential office setup; no complaints with blinds open and ceiling fan light on. Hope this was helpful

Great monitor - accurate colors, like the PIP mode - tired using the KVM feature but I think my older computer cannot support it or I am doing something wrong. Plenty of screen size for multitasking. Using it with Mac Mini M2 Pro and 2013 PC Desktop. Very sharp and enjoy the eye upgrade

Cannot be happier it worked better than anticipated. It brought new life to an old computer.
