Computer Monitor Connected To Laptop

Have been using an older teleprompter with a computer monitor connected by cords to a laptop. Worked good, but it's become too cumbersome and slow to setup with an octopus mess of wires all over the place. Decided to give this a go and so far so good. It is for real like 1/4 the size of the equipment we were using before, so that alone was worth it. While i do like using a real computer to make changes and run the prompter, I think it's just something to get used to to fiddle with an iPad.

It connected the DisplayPort on my computer to the HDMI port on my monitor.

I just connected my second monitor to my computer and I have to say, that this cable is a steal for the price!

I use this to keep my external hard drive connected to my laptop. I used to just let it hangout next to my computer. This is sooooo much better.

Connected a Levono laptop to a Samsung monitor and it worked perfectly. Buy one!

Setting up this printer was fairly easy and did not take very much time. The install process for the software on my computer took a little while, but it wasn't confusing. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to my internet network. I connected it directly on the printer, and although it connected, it said the signal was weak. When I tried to search for the printer through my computer, it said it couldn't be found. I had to bring my laptop downstairs and connect my computer with a USB cord and setup the network that way, and then the signal was strong and my computer identified it just fine. Not really sure why that happened, but glad it worked out in the end. Secondly, I'm so glad I can finally print something without having to bring my laptop downstairs each time. The printer is super quick, and I have not received any errors when trying to print anything. It properly shows up as the first option in my printing options. My computer monitor does not support dvi got this hook up to my gpu dvi and connected my vga to it and it done the job it needed to do

I use this next to an external monitor that is connected to a macbook pro. The stand is elegant and holds the computer screen at the proper level (although the stand is not adjustable). Highly recommend.

Worked as expected. My D7100 now is happily connected to an HDMI computer monitor. It worked right out of the box. My experience with this product doesn't give me any reason to not give it a full 5 stars.

My new computer has a Display port and an HDMI port. My monitor is connected via a DVI port. This cable works perfectly, I don't have to replace my monitor.
