Computer Monitor Displayport

It connected the DisplayPort on my computer to the HDMI port on my monitor.

I bought this to connect my aging Samsung monitor, which only has DVI and VGA inputs, to my new computer which only has DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. Since the monitor doesn't have a sound system in it, DisplayPort is the natural choice, and I use the HDMI of for my pen tablet. Cable works flawlessly with no problems in picture quality and has plenty of length to be able to stow the computer out of the way. It feels durable enough to last many years.

I had it plugged into my computer and then used a gigaware adapter to convert from Mini DisplayPort into DisplayPort (which is what my monitor had available). This adapter worked fine from my usb-c enabled iMac and MacBook too, into an older 24 inch Samsung monitor at monitor's resolution (2560x1440).

Nice 4K monitor for the price. I am using displayport at 60hz.

WOW! I bought a fancy new LG monitor here at B&H to use as an external monitor for my 2017ish upgraded MacBook Air. This was a recommended product I tossed in my shopping cart because of its mention of the Mini DisplayPort connectivity. THRILLED I did because it came a day after my new monitor ... and in the mean time, I tried two other cords I had lying around with rather bogus results: 1) Old cord #1 was a Mini DisplayPort (Thunderbolt 1 version) to HDMI — Fuzzy as heck but no lag or mouse-move jitter 1) Old cord #2 was HDMI to HDMI cord fitted with Mini DisplayPort adapter — Crystal clear but horrifically laggy and jittery display Obviously I'm not technical but I recommend buying this cable even if you have various options in your electronics junk drawer at home that you think will work ... they might not!

Works to connect my 2nd FHD monitor with HDMI to docking station with DisplayPort.

My new computer has one HDMI and one DisplayPort output and I have two monitors I want to use.� This DisplayPort cable lets me use the second monitor now.� The 3' length is more than enough without having extra coiled up. My screen is 2056x1080.� Since this cable is 4K rated, it works great for my extra wide but not 4K large screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect to convert DisplayPort to HDMI This Plugable dongle has been working great to convert my DisplayPort output on my computer to work with an HDMI cable. Important note is that this is one-way: DisplayPort to HDMI, not the other way around. I chose to go with an adapter like this, rather than a cable with different DisplayPort and HDMI ends, as this gives me the freedom to change the HDMI cable I'm using with the computer if I want longer or shorter. No complaints!!

The Xcellon Displayport to HDMI adaptor works great. I tried using it on an older computer to connect a couple of different monitors varying in age in each one worked. I also tried it with my newer ben q 4k monitor on my main computer and also had no issues. It does exactly what you need it to do. The build quality is good, it's small and compact, and it locks in so it won't get accidentally pulled out. I'm very pleased with this adapter. When adding a new computer to my set up, I needed a mini-DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable to connect the computer to my existing monitor. When shopping for the cable, I found a number that were 1/3 the price, but they all said that they didn't completely met the spec. The B&H cable description proudly announced that the cable exceeds the spec. And, as always, the part I ordered arrived on time.
