Computer Monitor Displayport No Signal

It connected the DisplayPort on my computer to the HDMI port on my monitor.

I bought this to connect my aging Samsung monitor, which only has DVI and VGA inputs, to my new computer which only has DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. Since the monitor doesn't have a sound system in it, DisplayPort is the natural choice, and I use the HDMI of for my pen tablet. Cable works flawlessly with no problems in picture quality and has plenty of length to be able to stow the computer out of the way. It feels durable enough to last many years.

I had it plugged into my computer and then used a gigaware adapter to convert from Mini DisplayPort into DisplayPort (which is what my monitor had available). This adapter worked fine from my usb-c enabled iMac and MacBook too, into an older 24 inch Samsung monitor at monitor's resolution (2560x1440).

It's a cable and its job is simple, take the signal from the computer and display it on a monitor.

Nice 4K monitor for the price. I am using displayport at 60hz.

It is what it is. It's a Thunderbolt Cable, which is a hardware interface that combines PCI Express and DisplayPort into one signal.

We have used this product many times for sending the DVI signal 700+ feet from the computer. No problems at all. Just attach them and they work.

We use this to convert a presentation podium DisplayPort output to SDI. The SDI signal is routed to a video switcher. Love the high resolution, really an improvement to have all SDI, rather than good old composite video. Had to download the AJA mini-config software to set up the way we wanted, but that went well.

We are using two units. While I initially purchased them to feed an external monitor, using both the transmitter and receiver, we now only use the transmitters to send the signal to 2 iPad Pro's. The monitor latency is nearly indistinguishable. We are using them to film music videos, so timing and latency are critical. I initially had a competitor's brand. The latency was very noticeable. These units solved this issue. No complaints. Well built. No transmission issues. I also like that we can send the same signal to multiple devices. Overall, very satisfied with these units. One more note, the monitor feature on iOS features several pro monitor features, including focus and color graphs. These are also very helpful. Highly recommend.
