Computer Monitor Dp Connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a old computer monitor that only had a VGA to VGA connection and was not compatible with my laptop. This product bought back to life the monitor and I couldn't be more happier with my monitor/computer connection!

Purchased to connect a new computer with a HDMI port to my existing monitor with a DVI connection. It is working flawlessly so far.

I needed a monitor to supplement my TV connection for multi-tasking on my computer. I immediately was impressed with how much better the picture quality was. The text and graphics are ridiculously smoother. I loved the monitor's crisp view so much I bought another one and stacked above the original. I connected them via Display Port and adjusted their brightness and power saver settings to my preference. They perform flawlessly!! My only gripe would be that the connections should be vertical instead of horizontal. The monitors a relatively thin, however, the Display Port cable sticks out 2" behind the monitor. This is would only be useful if you planned on mounting flat on a wall.

This is a great cable.� Much longer than the DP cable that came with the 4k Monitor.

excellent monitor for productivity, running 5K @75hz on DP. port options are excellent.

It took me hours to figure out why my monitor won't work, and they gave me the answer right ways , I called them for recommendation after I didnt get another cabled hub to work... they let me know I cant use HDMI to mini - DP and need one with mini DP port like this one and let me know B&H have them.. the best part .. this thing look so slick like part of my macbook instead of that old dongle The hyperdrive

I have replaced all the DP to VGA adapters for my office computer (Dell OptiPlex 780's). This adapter secures well to the computer and being it has a pigtail it does not extend much past the onboard VGA monitor cable. I have 35 workstations with dual monitors and non of these adapters have failed going on three years.

This computer is doing everything I throw at it including photoshop, lightroom, Capture One, DP professional and Logic. Thankfully I added 16 RAM to memory as I ordered, since you cant upgrade that later. HIghly recommend this unit, and no fan noise or heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant when I ordered this monitor. I wasn't sure if 1440p at 24" would make everything too small. Now, after having it for a week, I love this monitor. Yes, everything a bit smaller compared to 1080p, but absolutely not too small. I can read everything clearly whether I sit normal at arms length or lean back all the way on my chair. Everything is just sharp and clear. Here are the pros: 1. The design, love it. 2. High quality all metal base. This monitor does not wobble like those models with plastic stands. 3. USB hub and input choices, HDMI, DP or Type-C. 4. 75hz when using DP port. 5. Great price. Especially when you get it with a discount like i did. Some cons: 1. Warranty is only 1 year. my old budget Phillips that this is replacing came with 4 years warranty. Industry average seems to be 2 or 3 years. Hopefully, this is not a reflection of the panel quality. 2. Bezels are thin, but not as thin as the model L24q-30. They are both marketed as Near-Edgeless, but this one has a tiny bit more edge. 3. The build-in speakers are no good. I wish they didn't bother to include them and just lowered the price by $10. Overall, this is a great monitor. I love it, I use it for video editing and some gaming. No regrets. Now, I just hope it lasts a few years.
