Computer Monitor Side Mounted Speakers

Exactly what I needed, had a all in one computer that had to be mounted off the table, it is heavier than a monitor, this mount was the thing. 5 |

I like them, so far. I have them as my side speakers. 5 |

I give this monitor 5 stars because it accomplishes what it set out to do perfectly. But beware, you need to know what you're getting with this beast. I can now comfortably put three windows side by side to do my work and that alone is worth the price of admission. Gaming wise this thing is fantastic. I have paired it with a RTX 2080 Ti and all games run beautifully. Everything looks nice and crisp on the high resolution 5120×1440 screen and HDR1000 makes the colours and brightness pop. Freesync works from 48hz up to 120hz and you can also simultaneously use FreeSync/G-SYNC and HDR. The view is so immersive, it's just fantastic. This monitor has a DPI of about 80. This monitor has no speakers at all. I have it mounted on my monitor arm with no problems. The monitor weighs 33lbs which many will find heavy. Getting it mounted was quite the chore and nearly led to my wife divorcing me, but we did it. I have to say overall I love it. I can fit everything I need comfortably onto the screen. No more switching desktops. It's been a great productivity and "staying in the zone" boost. My only complaint is how it changes sources, it's a bit tedious. My productivity, focus and happiness while working has increased so much with this monitor, and gaming is fantastic. I use Linux with a tiling window manager. To be honest when I'm in Windows or OSX then this monitor isn't quite as godly. The automatic tiling really helps squeeze out the full worth of this giant beast. I've had zero issues with it. No matter what machine, OS or whatever, it has worked 100% perfectly, it's simply stellar. 5 |

Use it with my home computer. Placed the subwoofer under the table and the left/right speakers on either side of the computer. Overall effect of the sound is great with no imbalance. Own it for a month now. 5 |

The extension allows this to be mounted behind a computer monitor and still have the mic placed wherever it needs to be. This has good load capacity and still easily adjustable. 5 |

This product opened up a lot of space on my counter top after I mounted my computer's monitor to it. It arrived on time with no damage to the package. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is awesome for office work and game playing. The picture quality is stunning, with bright and vibrant colors right out of the box. Whites are super white and perfect for office tasks. I think the highest refresh rate is 60hz, which is fine for most tasks but not ideal for gaming. That's really the only downside I see. One of the coolest features is the built-in laptop docking station at the back. I connected a wireless mouse, keyboard, and LAN cable, and then just used the included USB-C to connect everything to my laptop. It charges my laptop and gets all the peripherals working, reducing desk clutter with just one cable. I even mounted it on the wall in our office to free up more desk space, thanks to the standard VESA mount screw holes. The monitor is huge, so it's easy to display two windows side by side in Windows. The outer bezels are small, but the back is a bit thicker because of the dock. It doesn't have built-in speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm jack for your own speakers or headphones. Overall, it's a fantastic monitor! 5 |

I regret not getting this sooner, even for mostly document work. The large single screen is much better than dual displays for documents, since it lets you put zoomed-in documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, and/or emails so they are adjacent (touching), side-by-side for easy workflow. I was not sure I needed a monitor with this high of a resolution on a 32 screen, but I'm really glad I followed the B&H rep's advice and went for a 2K model. Well worth the extra cost over lower resolution monitors. Even for document use--my primary application for this monitor--you need at least 2K resolution. When you zoom in on documents with 2K, the font appears sharp and readable. On lower resolution monitors, zoomed-in text tends to have a fuzzy edge to the font, that makes it harder on the eyes. This monitor is a bargain for how nice it is. The annoying negative with this unit is the placement of the hardware buttons for controlling monitor settings--on the back, so you cannot see what you are pressing, and need to work by feel. Not bad, once you get used to it. And switching among display modes is great. It optimizes the settings to suit different content, e.g., documents, videos etc. The speakers are only for the most basic sounds, like system noises or alarms. Those speakers do not sound good for video sound or music. Get external speakers for those applications. I have a tiny, tiny desk, and was surprised to find the monitor fits perfection on there. Even though I checked the dimensions and measured against my work area, until it arrived, I was doubtful it would fit. The included stand is very solid, and makes a really solid footing for this monitor. 5 |
