I used my son's computer with a curved monitor. I realized how much better it is that trying to use dual monitors. I use dual monitors for work and find that I am constantly looking to one side or the other. Making my neck hurt. I also hated moving things from monitor to monitor and never being able to view anything right in front of me. I don't know why I didn't think of trying one sooner. This monitor is great. Awesome picture. I am currently using this mainly for work. I will be planning to get a better computer for games and crafting. I was using a 22 and and 24 monitor. This 34 curved is perfect for what I need. The R1800 curve is the right amount for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it.

I purchased this monitor to replace two monitors that I was using with my MacBook Pro, and I'm glad I did. It's gorgeous, the speakers are great, and the assembly and set up were easy. My desk is now clean with the one unit, the cords are less unsightly, and I no longer need the external speakers either. The only thing I might do differently is get the curved version of this screen. One of my old external monitors was curved and I did not like it. But with all this real estate on the new monitor, I think a nice curve would be great. Anyway, very pleased with purchase, and always B&H is a great place to buy.

This was one of my first curved monitors and still is one of my favorites. It's really good for a PC or a PS5 because the PS5 has a 120hz mode in some games, mainly FPS games. The colors are good, and the game plus is awesome! Game plus lets you do anything from keep an eye on your frames per second to putting a crosshair on your screen. I haven't noticed anything negative with it being curved, or any eye strain. It doesn't seem to have much glare, and you can view at multiple angles without problems. I mounted it to some hydraulic stands so, they are light enough for that and to move around. They are durable, for a monitor. I feel like the curved helps with bigger monitors. I haven't quite figured out the HDR but that's with any of my monitors. HDR seems to be more of a marketing thing. Unless you are planning on spending a ton of money on a monitor, don't worry about HDR. The one I bought was a 32 in, but it might be a little too big for what I'm using it for. I don't regret getting this monitor. I recommended ASUS curved monitors to some coworkers and they like them as well. You can't go wrong with this monitor. I have bought at lot of ASUS. Most of my PC is ASUS. I like their stuff. The TUF series cost to performance is tough to beat and the ROG stuff is really nice when you want it all! I'm not sure about customer service yet. I haven't had any issues with my monitors. They are currently in the process of repair a graphics card under warranty and so far, it hasn't been a bad experience.

Beautiful. This monitor is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you unpack it till you finish using it for the day, this is just a gorgeous piece of equipment. Positives: - Amazing to look at… even when off - No eye strain, even after a 10 hours of constant use - Great connection options - Fast refresh times - Excellent resolution - Curved Negatives: - Back cover for cord management is flimsy - Expensive This monitor replaced two IPS 19’’ monitors. When using those, I had noticed that I could not sit in front of them for a long time; but with this Samsung monitor, I can spend an inordinate amount of time without any eye strain or feeling uncomfortable. While a curved TV seems like a gimmick, using a curved monitor is absolutely amazing. You sit close enough in front of the monitor that having a curved screen actually seems to “envelop” your view. The colors are comparable to the older IPS monitors, but the single wide screen monitor really makes everything immersive as there is no “break” in content. The biggest negative that I could find is the price. This is an expensive product, no way around it. The other minor quibble is that in order to “hide” the power and connection cord in the back of the monitor, the back plastic plate is really flimsy and can easily fall out as there isn’t a locking / snapping mechanism. Fortunately, once set, this becomes a moot point. I recommend this for anyone looking for a top of the line monitor.

It helps a lot with these widescreen monitors to have Windows 11 for easier window sizing of various software. You can click the window and drag it to the top and then pick which size you want the window to be. I have tried 2 windows side by side. This is typically my gaming set up. I have also tried quadrant windows, so 4 windows total and that's not too bad either. The flatness isn't that much of an issue to me. The fact that it was much cheaper than the curved monitors that are similar in size was the selling point for me. I know curved monitors are all the rage right now, but this one works fine for me for what I do. I am typically playing FFXI (I know I'm old :D) 2 Windows side by side, and then of course normal web surfing etc. I also use SolidWorks with this computer and monitor and that has worked really well with the widescreen. The resolution on this one is 3440 x 1440. It's nice because not everything is ready for 4k and this is a slight upgrade from my 2k monitors that I had before. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

This monitor literally took the place kd 3 individual monitors and opened up so much desk space the sleek thin design takes minimal airspace above my desk making my office work station has eliminated my closed in, clostrophic feeling completely away and I have noticed my Administrative time has been more efficient. Putting this bad boy next to my 21 inch monitors, they look so insignificant. The quality craftsmanship construction, you can feel that this is a monitor build to last. It's semi-light weight and ergonomically designed curve makes relocating the monitor hassle free and quick. There are plenty of ports on the back and control buttons are easy to use and sturdy...no buttons wiggle.

It sits up high enough that I'm leveled with the monitor. I'm very happy with it. The picture is picture perfect! I use this for gaming and also work. I have it sitting next to my other computer screen. I'm definitely going to get another AOC curved monitor and get rid of my smaller monitor. It's sturdy and sits perfect on my desk. I can't say one negative thing about this monitor at all. It's easy to clean. It came well packed in the box and had no damage to it. It was easy to take out of the box and took less than 5 minutes to set everything up. This is the perfect size computer to have for every day use and especially for gaming! I didn't think I would like the curved monitor, but I was wrong. It's amazing!
