I was very impressed with the filter when I took it out of the package. I held it up in my fingers to the brilliant afternoon blue sky and turned the filter to engage the polarizer. Wow! I had bought a cheapo filter before and thought it was okay, but it's off to the recycler. Now my photos have turned out fantastic. The way it brings out the sky's vivid blueness is amazing as opposed to the pale robin's egg that we all know and love. It is an intense colour that truly improves and enhances the image overall. I even noticed a difference when shooting in amongst trees as the light changed again making the images of the leaves stand out more with less shine and reflection. This was a great buy and the speediness to which it was delivered was also appreciated. Thanks to all. 5 |

I used this mic for the first time last week and was very impressed with the audio quality and build. The on/off, -10db, high pass and boost buttons are easy to get to, and the blue LED indicator lights are easy to see. When I plugged the mic into my Zoom H5 the power light turned from blue to green, which indicated it was receiving phantom power. This is a great feature, allowing me to easily identify the setting. Since the mic has its own power I turned off the phantom power on the H5. For what you get, it's well worth the money. I'm using it with the Rode blimp and K-tek KE 79CCR boom pole. 5 |
