Computer Monitor With Built In Webcam And Microphone

I use my computer with an external monitor that has no built-in webcam. My external webcam does mount on top of the monitor screen, but the viewing angle is not good. I used this device, along with the Square Jellyfish Tabletop Support (Aluminum), to support my webcam on the desk, under the monitor, as shown. As you can see from the attached image, the viewing angle is excellent. This device will not bear a load much greater than this one, and in particular, the ball, when moved, would have to be tightened down to hold a heavier device in place. There is an adjustment for this, but you have to unmount the device from your tripod to tighten it down. So I wouldn't recommend this as a general purpose ball head for anything that weighs more than a few ounces (100 g). But I have to give it 5 stars because out of the box it was perfect for my application.

Small,compact and very functional webcam. Our computer easily recognized it. Microphone is adequate and the camera folds easy for different positioning.

Great monitor with built-in video camera and microphone.

I looked around and this monitor was rated well by many people. This monitor works great. The webcam and microphone work as long as you use the correct wires and make sure they are plugged in well. The times where someone had an issue was when the wire going to the USB port on the computer had been pulled out some by accident. These montiors are very reliable. I've purchased 7 of them so far. I would recommend them to everyone. They are hard to find right now but totally worth their price.

As a relatively clueless computer user, I didn't realize that the monitor I just purchased would need a separate camera and microphone for me to join in on Zoom meetings, which have become necessary for my work as a retired letter carrier and union steward, and trail maintainer on the Ice Age Trail, during these pandemic times. So I was extremely pleased that when I finally got my webcam, all I needed to do was attach it to my new monitor, a very simple process, and plug the USB cord into my tower. I was also happy my son-in-law was around to point out the little camera blinder that needed to be opened to actually get a picture of me into the meeting. The picture quality is fine and the microphone works well. I am very pleased and happy I didn't need to wait a long time for the backordered webcam to arrive.

The video quality of this HD webcam is excellent and the built-in microphones work better than a microphone array on a laptop or Intel NUC. Of course, a separate quality microphone closer to the speaker will always give clearer audio. Video in Teams, Zoom, and Skype look much better than with my previous Logitech webcam in terms of color accuracy, low-light performance and image sharpness. Because of the quality lens and sensor, digital zoom can be used when needed. The tripod attachment is very welcome. When recording a group, you get much better results when putting the cam on a tripod and adjusting height and angle just as you would do when recording video.

I use the Lume Cube Panel Go & Ball Head Camera Mount with 3/8-16 Light Stand Adapter on an articulated gooseneck arm over my webcam on my computer monitor. The articulated arm is attached to the monitor stand. The light is bright and has good enough color for this use. I have not tried it with still photography or a video camera but it seems well designed and well enough built. The diffuser is flexible and seems to stay in place even though it fits between the light and the ball head top plate (screwing down the light is only slightly affected by this but it is not super tight without modifying the diffuser.) The ball head seems fine over the top of my computer webcam but I haven't tested it in a work or field application so I can't vouch for how sturdy it would be atop a camera or camcorder, i just haven't tried it that way. So far I'm very happy with the light and the way the adjustments work though all the information displays are on the back of the light and I use it front facing (so I can't see what the actual display says.) Good small light for a webcam application, no complaints so far.

When I upgraded my computer I purchased a monitor that didn’t have a webcam. After looking at different reviews I decided to try the Logitech C920s. I’m happy with results for what I need it for. The only thing I would like to see more control of is the color adjustment.
