Computer Monitor With Component

Love the computer so far but never got the monitor.

Every new electronic gadget, cell phone, tablet, computer component has a cord, so these are my go to straps for keeping everything manageable.

This does NOT sound like a computer speaker, but rather like a home audio component. It actually has good, solid bass, not the boomy sound normally associated with this sort of speaker. I actually bought Bose as well as Sonos. Returned the Bose. I wish that it had a multiband tone control rather than just bass and treble. I started out with a Sonos 3 AND a Sonos 5. The difference was so stark that I kept the 5 and returned the 3. Now I find myself wondering what a pair of 3's and a Sonos subwoofer would be like! Hmmmm...

This camera works very well, and has to be the easiest component I've ever installed-basically, there's no installation at all, you just plug it into the computer's USB jack and it magically knows when it needs to turn on. I would give six stars just for that.

Another fine Kondor Blue component. Bought to power the DJI SDR Transmitter from V mount batteries that provide power for Wireless video feed; Wireless focus & iris control; 3rd assistant monitor; HDMI to SDI cross converter; secondary monitor; and camera. Saves weight not having to add a battery to the rear of the SDR Transmitter.

We use this card mostly for playback to a plasma monitor in our studio via the component out, but will soon be using it to digitize archived BetaSP footage. It works great and was easy to install in our Mac Pro. The card comes with a breakout cable that has component, composite or SGI in/out as well as a Mini HDMI / HDMI and balanced XLR audio.

I've been using teleprompters as a key component of my shoots for the last 4 years, and have relied on my ikan hdmi monitor style prompter ever since. The issue with that one is it relies on these tiny machine screws to keep the whole thing together, so there are a lot of weak spots where I've had to retap and re-screw to prevent it from crumbling. This PP branded prompter is a great replacement. All the same features of the computer-to-hdmi-to-monitor style control, but with one hinge that has a safety stop and minimal threaded weak points. Also I'm loving the 15 size and enhanced font!

It's quite useful. Attached it to computer and monitor and it worked.

Hooked it up as a second monitor on my new computer. Worked right away and I'm happy with it.

Works as I expected to connect my computer to the monitor.
