I just bought a new MacBook pro from B&H Photo. My old Macbook was 12 years old and still functioning well, I just couldn't update it any more. Couldn't download functioning forms of java script, google, you tube etc... I will keep it as a storage unit. The new Macbook is somewhat similar. It is the same keyboard, except now it is backlight, but it came installed with Yosemite. I spend more of my time building and making things than I spend on the computer, so I am not the most computer savvy person on earth, and this new Macbook will take a bit of learning. Over all, I believe it won't take too long to get up to speed. I purchased the apple care protection plan, and between that, and the great service help I get from the people at B&H, my learning curve should be even shorter. 5 |

Running on a new MacBook Pro 13" and Dual Dell Monitors with Certified HDMI cables and its flawless... the only rub is if you are running certain MacOS ... but found that very detailed support document and fixed it in less than 5 minutes... Very slick Tech support... Thanks dudes! 5 |

Speeds used with MacBook Pro and Mac Pro are consistent with claimed speeds. The speeds are sustained with large transfers, upwards of 100+ files and 500GB+ each time. If you must, even lots up to 1T+ can be done in under 30 minutes. Totally like the old and discontinued Samsung X5, which was not backward compatible with USB-C only devices, like this Envoy Pro FX. Remember, the slightly faster Envoy Pro EX is not backward compatible. 5 |
