Computer Not Reading Apple Sd Card Converter

Inexpensive way to transfer photos to my computer, which does not have an SD card reader.

this product is great if you have a computer that doesn't have a port for a sd card.

I use a Presonus Firestudio Project, which uses a Firewire connection, in my home studio. Of course, Firewire is a dead standard but I had seen that Apple had a converter to go from Firewire to Thunderbolt, so when I ordered my ASUS Republic of Gamers computer from B&H of course I ordered the Apple converter too. Unfortunately what I didn't realize was that the Thunderbolt end was the older, larger connector, and the computer had a USB-C/Thunderbolt connector that's a different size. So I still couldn't make the last mile. I ordered this converter, and it works perfectly. A couple of words of caution, though. It didn't work right away, not because of the converter but because of quirks in the Presonus hardware and their Studio One software. If you're looking at this for the same reason, be sure to remember to install Universal Control off the disk that came with the hardware first. Then download the update. It might take a few restarts to get the computer to see the Firestudio Project and get the light to turn blue. Once you've done that, if you're using Studio One and it doesn't show up automatically you can manually select it as the audio device. Then you'll be good to go. This converter has been a lifesaver. I can now record again, and I don't have to try to talk my wife into letting me buy a new audio interface!

After reading so many wonderful reviews of this SD card, I decided to try it. No complaints. Runs really well with my Canon C70. When they go on sale again I will purchase more :)

The Zoom H1n has fulfilled all of my expectations. Don't do what I did and buy a micro sd card before reading the requirements. I bought a card above the allowed size (nothing over 32 gb). Once I had the correct sized card, it has been great. I use it for sound design and for capturing live performances.

Previously I have bought Sony 128GB SD card with Reading speed of 300 & Write speed of 299 mbp/s and they are the fastest card in the market and they are working great so I have no doubt this CFast card for my Canon C200 for recording 4K raw will�work great. Though I just bought this recently and I don't�have any doubt.

Had to get this because my (MacBook Pro Late 2011) computer's SD slot was having issues reading high speed SD cards. Its has a solid feel and seems well made.

I use the LM2U 2-channel line level converter to convert the sound from the balance to computer sound card use. It's very good as expected.

Let me start by saying I'm 57 years old and have zero experience with tech other than knowing how to type and use my Apple computer for the most basic of things. With that said, I must use reading glasses every time I use it, even though I have the largest Apple monitor available. Everything for me has changed since I bought the Quest Pro. With Horizon's Workroom, I can now surf the web on 3 huge monitors in the most beautiful virtual office imaginable (an immaculate office surrounded by windows over looking a beautiful serene lake and hills covered in trees. There's even a beautiful fireplace behind me, an accurate clock on the wall, and more). I can go on more about Horizons Workroom but there is so much more to rave about the Quest Pro! I thought I had life good watching TV from my huge (and expensive) 85" Samsung TV. Since buying the Quest Pro, I choose to watch TV on the Quest Pro on the Netflix, Amazon Prime app, & YouTube VR apps. You have to try it to believe it. It's like watching a movie in my own private luxury movie Theater! There is so much more I can talk about but this review is getting too long so I'll end it with saying the META Quest Pro has truly changed my life!

Easy to install, easy to use, easy for computer to detect, easy to transfer files from SD card to computer.
