I spent a lot of time reading reviews for bookshelf speakers for my OnkyoTX-NR676 Stereo w/Pro-ject Debut Carbon Turntable, Kenwood CD changer and Pioneer Tape Deck (which is in my small office 14'x11') , and in contention in my under $250 price range were not only these ELAC Debut 2.0 speakers, but also Klipsch R-41M and Pioneer SP-BS22-LR. So far(3 weeks), these ELAC speakers came out of the box working/sounding really well at both low and high volumes, and I am glad I picked them. mvm 13.May.2020

I purchased these upfiring speakers after reading about Dolby Atmos sound. Wow! Instead of listening to 5.1 surround coming from my left, right, center front speakers and left, right rear speakers and my subwoofer, it now sounds as though I'm in a geodesic dome of speakers with sound coming from everywhere around and above me. Dialogue is clearer and music envelopes me, while the sound effects of the movies happen in a real-world environment. These Dolby-enabled speakers unleashed my tuner's Atmos capabilities. It's quite remarkable.

After reading many good reviews of these speakers, I ordered a pair for my use in location recording of classical music, small ensembles. I tested them at home first, and arrived at what I think is the best settings: flat (vs. desk) and HF at -3 dB. They sound very neutral that way, while revealing a lot of detail. The imaging on these speakers is incredible. And, the LF response is very surprising for the size. I'm not mixing HipHop so I don't need a huge LF signature. These are portable, easy to use, and sound great for what I use them for.

I was very sceptical of buying these speakers after reading reviews saying there was no bass.I just received my speakers 30 mins ago. They are hooked up and I'm jamming. LOVE THESE! The sounds is perfect. The bass is just enough to sound good but not rattle the walls. Im so glad I decided to get these for my TV. I would recommend these anyone. Can't wait to see what's in store in the future from Roku.
