the hardest parts of the process were deciding what to do with the two 4GB modules that came with the computer (I removed them and used the two slots for the new 16GB modules.... and learning how to access the RAM compartment (unplug the computer from the electrical outlet and press the little button hidden by it)....

I've never owned a computer that didn't require service at one time or another. They run all the time, and parts do wear out. 3 years is the typical lifespan for a PC (and the time required to amortize it, too), and this plan guarantees minimal headaches. BH also has the best prices around for AppleCare.

Was setting up a new computer, going for Asus brand parts. Got this and the mouse. Been using it for 2 plus years now. I spilled water on it and it still worked after it dried out. Great product.

I just retired from a long career as a lawyer and I wanted to do something completely different and relaxing for my first week off of full time work. I do a lot of photography as a hobby and I have many tens of thousands of high resolution photographs. I had been using the same computer for about 10 years, but it was getting very slow, I was running out of storage and various parts were showing their age. Also, my old system was using several 2TB spinning disc hard drives for data storage. They were slow, with transfer speeds sometimes being a low as 10 mbs. It was taking forever to back up my hard drives. Therefore, I decided to spend my first week building a new computer myself for the first time. I chose these SSDs because of their reputation for reliability and because of their higher data transfer speeds. Long story short, much to my joy and amazement the computer has run flawlessly from the instant I plugged it in and pushed the on button. I could not be happier. The system was fun to build, I learned a lot about building and setting up my own system. The new system is working beautifully. It is stable and blazing fast compared to my old rig. Lightroom and Photoshop are working MUCH faster Also, I have to say thank you to the people at B&H. They patiently answered my questions when I was deciding what components to purchase. The folks that I talked to were very knowledgeable and helpful. They promptly helped me to swap out a couple of components which were delayed due to back ordering, so all of the parts were ready when I was to finish the project. THANK YOU.
