Computer Plug In For Headset With Mic

This product allows you to use a headset mic (plug in power, 3-5V), with a product that provides phantom power (48V) for mics. Using my headset for chat on my PC, always felt weird because I couldn't hear my own voice, so it's hard to judge how loud you are talking or if you're breathing is getting picked up, etc... Making windows provide the feedback introduces too much lag and makes me go insane. Using a USB interface like the focusrite 2i2 and the VXLR+, allows all the flexibility that I want, and improved my noise level by 10dB to boot!! Love it! 5 |

I use the Rode headset to record my yoga classes and online courses. All I had to do was plug my mic into the transmitter. I plugged my receiver into my laptop and voil I was able to start recording. No set up, just plug and record. So easy, so good. 5 |

I use this product for my Ipod, Desktop computer, and rarely my laptop. Very comfortable, was really worried about comfort since I wear glasses. Sound is superb, very clear, im hearing things i have not heard before in my music and games. Now for those gamers that have to have a good headset and mic, you can buy parts, yes parts for the headset including a mic attachment. Dont think im allowed to say on here where you might get one but its pretty easy to find. I dont like the cord being on the left hand side but after 30 min I got use to it. Also dont like the coil cord, its a bit annoying at times. 5 |

It just keeps getting better. The versatility of the GO II system is crazy. You can plug it into a computer/laptop for mobile productions but also to a mixing board. Audio is ok through the built in mics which are very convenient. No wire to run, just clip and go. The units are small, but still very noticeable on camera (see image) so if being discreet is important, stick with a wired mic (which these can also except). Haven't tested the wired mic setup on GO II's yet. I also used the RodeLink wireless system for a couple years and love them. They may have a longer range, but are larger, require battery care and not as portable. All in all, another solid Rode product making productions easier than ever. 5 |

For those planning to do any sort of computer-based audio editing, this mic just can't be beat. On a PC at least, you plug it in, and it captures. With a decent noise reduction program to go along with it, you get full rich audio. 5 |

It worked for what i needed it for. I needed to plug my XLR Mic into my laptop computer for Podcasting since I didn't have a mixer. It worked pretty well. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little mic to start your own streaming videos or video conferencing. Would not be for professional use but great for someone starting out or just a replacement for a computer mic. It's very easy to set up and get started; just plug and play. It can be used on any device including your phone or computer. Comes with a USB to USB-C cord. It has both a headphone and USB-C plug in on the back. A simple control knob to control headphone volume and you can push it to mute the mic. Recording is much better than my built-in mic on my computer. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great microphone. I've had a couple lesser quality ones and the Thronmax blows them out of the water. It's super easy to setup. Just plug the USB-C into a computer and plug a pair of headphones into the bottom of the mic and you're in business. The cord is pretty long so you're not stuck right beside a computer. The sound quality is amazing, it's not tinney at all. I use it for online streams and sometimes video voice overs and everything sounds professionally done. The changeable led light at the bottom is a nice touch. It has several different colors it can be changed to. It's definitely a high quality and sleek looking mic. I will definitely be sticking with this brand. Highly recommend! 5 |

The Mic is not the best out of the box. You must plug it into your computer, download Rode Central, and edit the settings. After that it is perfect. 5 |
