Computer Screen For Macbook Pro

I use this next to an external monitor that is connected to a macbook pro. The stand is elegant and holds the computer screen at the proper level (although the stand is not adjustable). Highly recommend.

I absolutely adore this computer. It's fast, efficient, has an incredible screen than makes everything else look dull in comparison and has a good looking exterior as well. I upgraded from a M1 MacBook Pro with Touchbar (16gb, 256gb SSD) and this MacBook Pro is a night and day difference. While the M1 was no slouch, this is an upgrade in every single way. Better speakers, better keyboard (actual function keys), incredible and larger screen, faster processor and graphics, additional ports beyond the two USB-C ports, MagSafe and somehow even a better battery. I briefly considered getting the 16 or upgrading the Ram to 36gb, but I love the 14. It's portable yet large enough for multitasking and the 18gb base option is more than enough for the Lightroom, Photoshop and productivity work that I do. If I were a video editor I would definitely spring for more ram and maybe consider the Max variant, but as strictly a photographer and writer, this is already more than enough computer for me.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. Use this with a MacBook Pro for backing up my computer. Always installed, always backing up when the computer is on.

I just bought a new MacBook pro from B&H Photo. My old Macbook was 12 years old and still functioning well, I just couldn't update it any more. Couldn't download functioning forms of java script, google, you tube etc... I will keep it as a storage unit. The new Macbook is somewhat similar. It is the same keyboard, except now it is backlight, but it came installed with Yosemite. I spend more of my time building and making things than I spend on the computer, so I am not the most computer savvy person on earth, and this new Macbook will take a bit of learning. Over all, I believe it won't take too long to get up to speed. I purchased the apple care protection plan, and between that, and the great service help I get from the people at B&H, my learning curve should be even shorter.

The headline says it all. It was easy to set up with my MacBook Pro computer. It is everything I need a monitor to be for my photography.

who needs a MacBook Pro when this little guy does such fast stuff with the m2 chip. WONDERFUL computer.

Using this for my new MacBook Pro with the 15 screen fits great, looks great and last but not least got it at a terrific price.
