I like this unit and it was on of four models types I purchased for computer, entertainment and security devices. The thing I really like about this one is that it lets me know usage immediately and daily. The only thing I do not like is that sometimes the fan gets sort of loud, almost like a buzzing. Small price to pay for the protection it provides. I generally am only using 23% of the rating with a computer tower, two displays, four external RAID drives, a television and DirectTV box. This gives me 29 minutes of outage power which will extend itself if I turn off unnecessary devices.

I bought a new computer from B&H and it came with this security software. I've spent the past week loading software and when I finish I will install this software. I've been negligent about on line protection in the past & I will certainly take advantage of this program.

I only recommend APC going forward as there have been too many other solutions that are not as dependable.
