The camcorder is used primarily to create family videos, particularly of our two young children, and our travels. The video quality is amazing. I like the memory card storage on this particular camera, as you can just remove the card and insert it into a card port on the computer. I would suggest at least 16 gig cards if you choose this camcorder to get good recording length. The primary concern I have with this (and many other HD camcorders) is managing and editing the recorded file. First, the software is not great, and actually had some problems with it to start (remove any codec packages from your computer before using). The included software is the only software I have found to edit the .mts files as recorded (not great editing software). Most other editing software packages convert .mts to .mpg for editing which I think (not sure yet) loses quality. Otherwise, a wonderful camcorder ...

I got this Lenovo from B&H a few months ago. I needed the specs for my photo editing software (ON1 Photoraw) and it handles everything with no problem at all. Also I use it as a remote video editing computer with DaVinci Resolve 19 and again it has the power to perform flawlessly. The screen is excellent, it has all the variety of ports I need, including an SD card slot. The battery life is the best I've had. I can work in a coffeehouse as long as I want and not worry about finding an outlet, and generally I set it to the 80% conservation mode for charging. The computer is really thin and feels solid. It's a 16 screen but it will fit into bags designated for 15 laptops because the screen goes to within about 1/8 inch of the edges. I carry mine in a 15 Nutsac waxed canvas bag.

I noticed that my old drive was starting to struggle with some of my normal day to day activities, including gaming, video editing, and opening of large documents. I was also running out of room on the existing 500GB hard drive. That is where this little magnificent device came in. It was an easy swap in my existing computer as I already had a slot for PCIe. I loaded up the Samsung Magician software to get the drive setup initially as well as run some performance testing. The software was easy to use and made the installation and transfer process much easier for me. Once I started using the drive, it was like a got a new computer. All my software launched quickly, games loaded fast, and I didn’t have any issues with my video editing due to the speed of the drive. I’m really impressed with the quality of this drive. Hard to believe I went this long without upgrading. The 1TB gives me plenty of room to store what I need. No need to keep reading reviews, this drive is worth it. Plus I have comfort knowing that these drives are very reliable, so I won’t be losing any of my precious pictures and videos that are stored on the drive. Photography is just a hobby but with this camera I'm taking really fantastic quality pictures. The editing software that it comes with is pretty decent although i wouldn't bother installing it if you have something like photoshop or elements,
