Computer Speakers Conference Microphone

I was looking for a headset and microphone that connected to my computer, so that I could participate in online conference calls. This headset is extremely easy to connect to my computer and the quality of sound is amazing. It is a great deal for the money.

I am using this cable to connect my computer with speakers.

I used the H% with to external microphone inputs, one from a mixer and another a direct feed, to record presentations at a conference. It all worked well and smoothly. It's easy to use, small and contained, has all the bells and whistles one could want/need. Price is good.

I bought this adapter and a 20' HDMI cable to use Skype for an Office conference. The only problem I had was the need to change the Skype setup to use the computer's internal microphone, rather than the phantom HDMI microphone.

When our remote Google Hangout attendees complained that they could not hear some of the people around our conference table, I ordered this AC-404 after reading some reviews. The reviews were right. This microphone does everything we hoped for. It will pick up the person at the far end of the table without getting blown out by a person sitting closer. Also it eliminated some of the feedback issue we were having with the computer's built-in microphone. I would recommend this mic to anyone needing a USB solution in conference mics.

These headphones were purchased for telecommuting business use, primarily for VOIP customer conference and internal company calls. I have used them for both short conversations and hours long conference calls, and found them to be comfortable to wear and easy to put on or take off. Sound quality is excellent (when compared to audio and gaming headsets I have used) and the microphone pickup is clear (according to feedback from listeners). I chose the dual headset to block ambient sound in my home office, and the USB-A connection to allow flexibility for USB or 3.5mm connections. Microphone position adjustment is easy and it stays in position unless moved. The in-line control (mute, volume and on/off-hook switches) are easy to use and have visual indicators. I also set- up the headset to use the audio prompt so I am notified when I select mute on or off. I use the headset multiple times a day, so it goes through 10-20 putting on / taking off cycles per day, and so far I have had no issues with defects or failures. When not in use it hangs on a hook with the cord suspended, so the unit is not stressed by being folded or put in a drawer, and I work close to my computer so the cord is not under tension when in use. I have only found two drawbacks: 1) if you place the microphone in certain positions it will pick up your breathing (fixed by adjusting the microphone position), and 2) the headband adjustment detents are not deep, so when you remove or handle the headset the adjustment can change (not a defect, but something to be aware of if headband/earpiece location is important to your comfort). Overall, high quality sound, easy to use and comfortable to wear make this a product I would recommend for any application similar to mine.

The microphone works well for our usage in a conference call atmosphere. Although, I'm kind of worried that the usb connection will become outdated with newer technology.

We purchased this to record video at a conference. It worked very well. We were able to just hand a person the microphone and record a short clip before moving on to another person. They did not have to hold it close to their mouth. It did pick up both people when they were side to side and holding the mic between them. It mounted to the top of the Canon T2i and we easily switched from the wireless mic to the built-in camera mic and back again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this microphone because during conference calls my voice always seemed muffled to the others on the call. I tried using headphones with the microphone built in along with toying with the settings and nothing seemed to work. This microphone is great! Haven’t had any issues with anything as far as me talking into the mic along with outside noise. It’s really great at cancelling out the other noises and voices except your own. The sound isnt muffled and the controls are super easy to use. I was expecting this microphone to feel cheap due to my past experiences, but this thing is built to last! And it’s very sturdy on the desk as well! No worries about knocking it over or toppling it to the ground. Overall I’m very pleased and would buy again!
