Computer Speakers For Mixing

I'm thrilled, that I can hear on both speakers on my headphones now that I'm connecting to the Rode mixing board.

I am using this cable to connect my computer with speakers.

These monitor speakers, although pricy, are very well suited to mixing and editing in protools for a studio either at home or in a formal studio setting. They are transparent with a very flat sound that does not emphasize any particular aspect of the frequency spectrum. Flat sound as used here is a good thing. The bass is surprisingly strong in my editing room which only about 8' x 10'. I did add a subwoofer for frequencies below 50Hz. The highs are exceptionally clear and the midrange very smooth. These speakers are very easy on the ears even after several hours editing. I highly recommend them. I use them mainly to edit recording of live theatrical musical performances.

It took me longer to plug in the cables than to figure out how to run this thing. It's super convenient for flipping between different sets of speakers. I just upgraded from mixing using one set of 10 monitors to including smaller 5 speakers for reference, and the Mackie Big Knob allows me to flip back and forth with one button - so nice to keep the energy up during mixing! I also appreciate the Mono button, Mute button, and Dim buttons. I would have bought this anyway for the fast speaker interchange, but having these additional features right at my fingertips is a bonus. If you have multiple speakers you want to use for mixing, this will improve your efficiency. Great value!

For mixing these are hard to beat. Clean. Every vocal. Every nuance. Every instrument. If it's clean on these speakers it will be great on whatever folks are listening on...even the non-discerning. And if you want to rock out with them, you can equalize and turn the volume up. Can't imagine a better set of speakers for a small room mix.

Low price speakers with a huge sound. Great monitors for mixing and having the Bluetooth option is nice if you want to take these on the go.

I have been producing, mixing, and mastering electronic music for almost 10 years and when I say that these speakers have taken my music to a whole nother level, I mean it. Seriously worth the money.

I prefer my Audio-technica for mixing but I have a couple other sets of headphones and speakers to reference between. These sound fantastic at a great price.

There is a saying among consumers that goes something like this: this particular product is good for the price. But I will say that these particular speakers are absolutely great speakers, period! On top of that, they are offered at a great price! The sound that comes out of them is absolutely stunning. It allows you to work on sound editing and mixing without missing anything. Nothing escapes these speakers so if you need to hear everything that you recorded, whether an open-air interview or production sound of a short film, it will definitely be audible with these quality speakers. I connect these speakers to my old (2008) 27 iMac using an amplifier, and this set up is amazing for the work I do. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking to work on mid-level sound production, editing, and mixing. Even for the casual consumer, listening to music and TV shows and movies with these speakers is absolutely amazing!
