I purchased this based off a recommendation since we had a bad humming sound with our mac mini connected to a pre-amp going to our mixer. The 3.5 mm part of the adapter is long enough for proper cable management. 5 |

I do Youtube content creation and I was looking to replace my 3 piece computer speakers that I previously used for pc gaming with something more mature and accurate with sound profiles for audio recording. These are excellent for the intended purpose given that they only cost $200 but reflect sound you'd expect in a professional studio. I will say that they provide adequate bass but if you really want the thump and vibration for bass heavy frequencies you'd probably also want to spend on the subwoofer that can be purchased separately, I haven't turned these up full volume yet because I don't feel like intentionally angering neighbors but the audio is enough to fill whatever room you put them in and possibly the next several rooms as well.
