Computer Speakers Not Working From Stereo Jack

This is a back to basics not so cheap phone. It is a really great phone. Excellent camara, phone jack, stereo speakers... Facing the person, light weight, well made, ergonomic to the hand, pocket sized.... And the thing that i like the most... Led notification. I will buy another one when the needs comes. I like the warm sound this amp delivers through 1970s era stereo speakers via a headphone jack hook-up to a mac-mini. Also a subwoofer I can control with the bass knob. I got the usual top-grade professional advice in a question chain via email. I would shop here again and again.

My mom uses computer speakers connected to the headphone jack on her Mac Mini. The jack failed (evidently this isn't uncommon). As an inexpensive workaround, I picked up this USB audio adapter, and it worked like a charm. Even plugged into a USB hub, it stays recognized and selected in the Sound System Preferences pane even after rebooting and waking from sleep.

I use this Y-cable for connecting two audio cords (from my desktop speakers) to my computer which only has one stereo output. It is great and I have not found any flaws. I will see how it will hold up in the long run.
