Speed Booster really helped the image quality, in low light situations and sharpness. I recommend this Speed booster to anyone using the BMPCC.

The Metabones speed booster is a game changer for the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera.

Works well. I use with the GH4 and it works great. Here's one observation, however: If I use a native lens like Olympus 25mm f/1.7 with my Gh4, the focus peaking goes crazy...very strong outlines and I know I'm in focus. When I use the Speed Booster w/ a Nikon 35mm f/1.8 (about the equivalent with the crop adjustment) or the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8, I get peaking, but it isn't as strong of an outline...meaning the camera doesn't seem to recognize focus quite as clearly. At this moment I can't determine if it just isn't as sharp using both the Speed Booster and Nikon glass as the only Olympus glass by itself or if it's the camera that can't see it as clearly. I feel it isn't quite as sharp in reviewing my footage. It looks great...but just not identical in sharpness. However, I use the Speed Booster for my documentary head shot interviews since I am often sitting in a small space and achieving a DOF is challenging with the shallow background. This Booster really helps. I really thought my faster Olympic lenses provided nice light anyway. However, you clearly do get more light in with the Speed Booster. So I love it, use it, and will absolutely continue to do so and recommend it, but because everything I shoot is 4k, I'm going to lean on my Olympus lenses for Ronin-M or Glidecam shots where my subject is moving and I have to rely often on focus peaking to know if I'm in focus and use this Speed Booster for many of my interviews with non-moving subject shots.

I am quite impressed at the cinematic quality of the image and how sharp the lens is even at maximum aperture of 0.95! It is also easily the best voigtlander in the m4/3 lineup. the voigtlanders are more contrast than I expected them to be, blacks are much punchier than a lot of vintage lenses, so I would say that the voigtlanders are an interesting mix of of modern and vintage lens aesthetics. This lens is also seems to resolve better than using vintage glass and a speed booster in my unscientific testing. It's heavy but feels good on a gh4' certainly less heavy than the speed booster and vintage lens combos, very well built.
