Computer Stuck On Boot Screen Keyboard Not Working

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. I had a horrible time getting this memory to work. After installation, my computer was stuck in a boot/reboot cycle before it even started to POST. It turned out that the memory sockets on my motherboard were either out of tolerance, or had extremely tight tolerances. Either way, the issue was that the memory module was not properly seated. It clicked into the socket and the locking lever locked it in place, but it wasn't making proper electrical contact. It took about an hour and multiple reseatings/checking different sockets to diagnose the problem, but once solved, it's been completely reliable for the several months that it's been installed.

The keyboard I got with my computer never worked very well as the keys stuck a lot. So I ordered a new KB and mouse This KB is great and much better. Mouse is fine.

The boot drive on my computer uses one of these drives and has been working correctly for several years. I purchased this drive as a back up in case the primary fails. I cloned my boot drive to my recent purchase with no difficulty. If the boot drive fails, or if there is an unfortunate scam attack, I can recover by simply replacing the primary boot drive with the recent back up.

I purchased this MStand for use with a 13 Macbook Pro. The stand is very sturdy and actually helps minimize the risk of spilled coffee on keyboard. As to the 'angle' of the screen; I have an XGEAR shadow cover (which limits opening a bit) and I am 6', The screen is about perfect. I can see under circumstances of taller people may wish a greater angle. It is possible to slightly bend the MStand (hard, but can be done). I can see no reason of those under 6' having a problem about screen angle. It will also be without saying that you should rely on a mouse and additional keyboard as the raised level of computer makes it ergonomically unfeasible to use tracpad and computer keyboard. Please bear in mind, I believe the stand size is larger for 15 and 17 computers. Therefore, reviews will be applicable for the size of computer. My stand is perfect for 11 and 13 computers.

this is by far the best tablet i have ever owned with all the functionality of the s pen the bigger screen and ability to use a keyboard its much better than any laptop or computer i own for what i need it for!! will be a samsung owner for life!
