Computer To Stereo Receiver Wireless

this works great with my wireless lav receiver that combines 2 channels of audio into a stereo output. This cable isolates the two channels so I can record the channels separately into a recorder.

I have an old stereo receiver which I use with a computer for tunes in my shop. A lot of noise and static was always being picked up by the cable, and rather than try shielded cables I decided to just utilize the optical output on the computer. Since the receiver didn't have optical capability, I picked up this converter to do the job. It does a great job, now there's no electrical connection to the computer and the noise is 100% gone.

I have two of these UPS's, one for the computer/Firewall/Modem/Wireless, the other for the Plasma TV/Stereo/Audio Amps. They have been running now many yrs. They also have a great insurance plan for anything connected to them, $. If you need to replace the battery, which over time it will happen, it is easy. If you can find one cheaper, buy it.

I've tried almost every type of different wireless keyboard and mouse to use with my computer, which is situated behind speakers, 10 feet away from where I use them, and this has been the only receiver with a consistent connection. Its accurate enough to play games like call or duty, or to do photo editing. The keyboard is pretty nice, I like it but some people don't. The mouse is a little small, but makes up for it with a very nice mouse wheel and other frills. But if you're considering this product for a home theater PC, all that is more or less moot, because IMO the Logitech unity receiver is the only option. TL;DR: don't buy anything but a Unity receiver device, such as this one, for long distance computing usage.
