Computer Window Design

I received my new Mac Pro from B&H in the time window promised, and I was able to assemble the monitor and other accessories without any problem. I bought this computer because I need a more powerful computer to use Final Cut Pro Studio 7, and so far so good. The Apple Cinema Display 27 is absolutely gorgeous. I bought it separately from another vendor. But, the two parts together work like a dream.

These are normally used in computer repair, but I bought one to help pull a sticky casement window closed. Perfect.

I installed the new RAM as soon as I got and it was easy to install and my computer is so fast I can't see it change from window to window. It's as if it's faster than the eye can detect. Now if it's reliable, I'm a happy camper.

I had one of these already and it works great with an external antenna. Easy to install. I use my computer as a DVR and since Window media center supports recording 2 shows at once I purchased a second device.

This light works well, is well built, easy to use, and the clamping device for on-computer mounting is really secure. Window on back shows selected brightness, color temp, and battery charge level. I am pleased with my purchase.

I switch between a Window 7, Windows XP, and Mac computer with no problems. Once I turned off the mouse emulation I was able to use MS Sidewinder. No problems with wired or wireless keyboard/mouse.

Never seen the likes of this design before what with flexible fabric qnd a clear window through which you are able to see all your controls and LCD screen. Yet you can attach your raincoat to a customizable eyepiece connector to see through the lens too. You can tuck your hands up under the coat to manipulate the controls.

Fractal Design makes great cases. If you don't need a side window and just want a great quality and quiet case at a fair price, this is a great option. Highly recommended. The sound dampening on the side panels works, and the included fans move plenty of air without much noise. Internal layout is easy to work with and cable management works well. Only issues: the panel on the front bottom is held on by magnets, and gets knocked off easily when moving the computer around. Honestly, drop the option for an optical drive and the cover, and make the case a bit smaller.

It appears to be aluminum, not plastic, well-made, sturdy and I like the design as it fits on my window rolled down almost to the bottom with the flange as a stabilizer. I haven't actually shot with it as I need to choose a cold shoe with tilt and lean, or fluid head so I can level my shots when I go back into the desert to shoot myself amongst the Joshua Trees up here in Lancaster, California, where I live. I've been setting up tripods in the sand and I'm hoping this might be more convenient if I can park appropriately. I imagine using it for city shots in some music videos also, so I can be less conspicuous than setting up a tripod on the sidewalk.

On a rainy weekend in San Francisco we stopped by the Peak Design store to do some window shopping and left with a Medium shell for my Canon EOS T6. Fits both camera and Tamron 18-400mm lens. Attaches and removes easily.
