Computers Have Four Central Processing Units Cpus

I have 3 computers. All are running 24/7. My main rig (email/word processing etc)has it's own dedicated monitor but my other 2 which are the faster machines are my photographic server and processing rigs. As I only need to see my photo server display occasionally, I decided to use a KVM switch. I had a Belkin (VGA) switch which I tried. That really was a piece of junk. So I bought this one (from B&H) and it was a breeze to install and so far has performed flawlessly. I have had no problems with Windows 7 updates as reported by another reviewer. Yes it is a little expensive but, guess what, you get what you pay for (most of the time!)

this is the second time I have purchased batteries for my APC UPS's. Always receive prompt service. I have two APC units that I have had for 15+ years. They keep my computers and components safe with surge protection as well. I'm a retired IT person. I consider these units invaluable. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants or needs to keep computers, etc. up an running when there is a power outage, as well as keep your equipment safe from power surges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this unit for review. This makes the third Back-UPS 850 unit that I have. I purchased two earlier versions. They are consistently easy to use and protect from power outages. I live where weather related outages are common so having protection for our video equipment and computers is very important. All units have worked very well though the two attached to our desktop computers also need to have the proper PowerChute software loaded to allow them to do a controlled shut down after surges or power loss. There are six (6) plugs with battery and surge protection and three (3) with surge only protection. The new units have two (2) USB ports that are also protected. Other than for computers, the units are simple to plug and work immediately to protect audio and video equipment.

I purchased three UPS units. Two are for computers and one for our router and TV. The hookup was easy and fast. There have not been any power outages, so I can't comment on that. However, I do not expect any issues.

I have 4 of these units. Two on computers and two on Home Entertainment setups. This is the second one that has died. Both times I ordered new batteries which arrived within a few days. Installation was easy and the old batteries went to our local electronic waste collection center. Thanks for the prompt service.

I have 5 of these units at our Factory. Uses range from HMI Computers and Allen-Bradley PLC's. I have several other APC UPS units and as they need replaced I go with this unit BR1500. I always use the "Trade in" option rather than replacing the batteries. I have had good results from the BR1500.

I got this at below market value and it is absolutely worth it. it makes Grand Central look even bigger than it already is!
