Conference Usb Wireless Headset

This headset was purchased to replace an entry level Logitech set from about 10-12 years ago. I wanted a comfortable headset for video conferencing that supported usb-c, since both my Pixelbook Go and MacBook Air only have usb-c ports. The fact that this headset can also easily convert into a standard stereo jack was also very appealing. I'm not ready for a wireless headset since I dislike charging too many devices and the mics on Bluetooth wireless headsets usually rate poorly (nearly always, the complaint is that they are underpowered and too quiet). I've used this headset now for numerous many hour long calls. It is lightweight and comfortable, my ears do not get hot, and it does an amazingly good job at blocking out background noise without any active noise canceling technology. The ear pad material was softer than I was expecting and it appears to sink around my ears for a close fit. Sound quality has been very good, and when I asked the people on the other side of my calls how I sounded, they all confirmed that I was clear and easily understood. The cord is very long, and the usb-c connector makes a tight fit. Setup was the same as any other usb headset.

These headphones were purchased for telecommuting business use, primarily for VOIP customer conference and internal company calls. I have used them for both short conversations and hours long conference calls, and found them to be comfortable to wear and easy to put on or take off. Sound quality is excellent (when compared to audio and gaming headsets I have used) and the microphone pickup is clear (according to feedback from listeners). I chose the dual headset to block ambient sound in my home office, and the USB-A connection to allow flexibility for USB or 3.5mm connections. Microphone position adjustment is easy and it stays in position unless moved. The in-line control (mute, volume and on/off-hook switches) are easy to use and have visual indicators. I also set- up the headset to use the audio prompt so I am notified when I select mute on or off. I use the headset multiple times a day, so it goes through 10-20 putting on / taking off cycles per day, and so far I have had no issues with defects or failures. When not in use it hangs on a hook with the cord suspended, so the unit is not stressed by being folded or put in a drawer, and I work close to my computer so the cord is not under tension when in use. I have only found two drawbacks: 1) if you place the microphone in certain positions it will pick up your breathing (fixed by adjusting the microphone position), and 2) the headband adjustment detents are not deep, so when you remove or handle the headset the adjustment can change (not a defect, but something to be aware of if headband/earpiece location is important to your comfort). Overall, high quality sound, easy to use and comfortable to wear make this a product I would recommend for any application similar to mine.

I was looking for a headset and microphone that connected to my computer, so that I could participate in online conference calls. This headset is extremely easy to connect to my computer and the quality of sound is amazing. It is a great deal for the money.

Since I retired, I video conference only infrequently. I needed a new headset to replace one that had worn out but did not want to spend a lot. I was surprised by the quality of this headset. Both the input and output are quite good (particularly for my needs) and, as others have noted, the headset is good-sized. I have a fairly large head and it fits me quite comfortably. Definitely an excellent value.

This speaker is perfect! I love the look of it, it sounds amazing and I use it for conference calls and it is the best speaker- headset I have used for calls. I've been told that I sound very clear using the speaker phone.

I never used a headset before, but they are helpful for ZOOM conference calls as they cut the ambient noise that would distract you if you were using the laptop microphone. I have a relatively large head but I find the 5220 to be light and comfortable.
