I replaced an expensive Linksys router with this one and my only wish is that I had done this sooner. Like the Ubiquiti switches, this is fairly simple to configure and install but also offers some very advanced settings for those that want to utilize those. It runs cool and quiet and made a dramatic difference in the speed and quality of both my LAN and WAN connections. Shown in picture with rack mount kit, not included with router. 5 |

This is a very powerful router, but inexpensive enough to use for residential situations. The router runs very cool, and it doesn't have a wireless chip to get in the way. I highly recommend updating the firmware, because it allows to visual traffic monitoring on your devices (i.e., see which computer is viewing Facebook for the majority of the time). There are few cons, though. It is difficult to configure, so it is definitely not for novices. Second, the webgui may not work with iOS devices, so unless you have the latest firmware, you won't be able configure it. The cons aren't dealbreakers for me, and but I expect many years of use out of it. 5 |

It is a great router that is easy to use (i.e. setup, configure, & manage) and is filled with a lost of really nice technologies that ranges from traffic monitoring and management to new tech like VPN - which I have not yet used but is now considering seeing that it is so easy to setup on this system. 5 |
