A must have for me when using this field recorder, the only thing missing is a screen! LED let you know when you're recording and what inputs you are using.

The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen

The first time I used this I was on a foreign network so I didn't have the IP address to configure it. The device has on-screen controls though so it was an easy setup, just browsed to my NDI source and worked great. I used this with vMix for a remote monitor of the program stream.

Waited two month for this and it didn't disappoint. Nice sharp image and the color looked great! The monitor is rated G-SYNC compatible and it works flawlessly with my GTX 1080. Installed their GamingOSD app on my PC and I can now configure everything in Windows. Using the software, you can turn on/off the RGB light in the back, change brightness/contract, and configure extra feature very easily. There is an extra shortcut button that's configurable located on the bottom left of the screen. The only thing I noticed was that the screen doesn't completely turn off when Window go to standby mode. Not sure if that's something I need to set somewhere. Overall, great monitor for work and gaming.

This is my 4th device I have in my home. So easy to use and setup. Really like how easy to configure the apps on the home screen . Got rid of the fire stick because the Roku works much better.

Works flawlessly with Windows and Mac. With Mac, there is an extra step where you install the display port drivers. The perfect thing to have now that we're all stuck at home.

This is the best value for a prosumer recorder out there. I am not sure that the 833, at five times the cost, is definitely a step up, but I am not actually certain that it delivers five times the value (the MixPre-6 is NOT a substitute for the 833, I'm just saying that if you're in the market for this, you're probably not in the market for that). The sound reproduction is incredibly good, the preamps deathly quiet, the construction solid and amazing, using excellent, high-end components (the XLR input plugs are an exception to this in that they are merely fine, not great) and the recording and mixing controls given are superb - not just superb for the price, but superb. Customer support - by email and phone - is a throwback to another era, one in which competent engineers answer the phone and expertly walk you through issues with a product they truly understand.
