Connect 2 Computers To One Keyboard Mouse Monitor

The switch is very easy to use and does everything I want and need. With the only setup being to connect your monitor, keyboard and mouse, along with the computers you want to connect with. I would recommend this switch to anyone needing a KVM switch that handles DVI along with audio from all computers.

I use this to switch the monitor, mouse, keyboard and sound between 2 computers. It's been working flawlessly.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

Very excited to get this monitor. I have two computers that use the same monitor and the fact that I can now use the same keyboard and mouse is amazing. Declutter the desk, minimize the cords and a fantastic display all in one. nothing better at this price for someone with multiple machines.

I'm using this to connect a single monitor, USB mouse and USB keyboard to two PCs. It's very easy to use: Just plug the monitor, mouse and keyboard into the KVM, then plug the KVM's built-in cables into each PC. No software to install. Boot both PCs and hit the switch on the KVM to switch from one to the other. Very inexpensive, and it saves space.

This device is one of the best gadgets I've ever bought. I used to connect to servers using standard monitor, mouse and keyboard. No more messing with vga/power cables to get monitor working. This device saved me already lots of time that I would otherwise waste on finding, connecting and moving monitor.

I have this connected to a mac laptop. I connected a keyboard and mouse, web cam, and monitor. I was not able to connect the power supply (I connected it directly into the laptop). The SD card reader also works well.

I have two desktops that I needed to connect to one monitor and one keyboard and mouse, this did the trick, cables are very easy to connect and long enough. I am not using the audio so I can't comment on that but so far everything seems to work effortless. There is a small cable with the button to switch the desktop, seems be very responsive. I've had this for about a week or two, haven't used it heavily but so far no complaints. Works as advertised. Seems to be of great quality. I can't find any cons at this point.

I got this dock for my home office where I connect my monitor and accessories like keyboard,mouse, usb headsets, camera, etc. to my mac mini and my lenovo laptop. It works seamlessly using full potential of the thunderbolt 3. Loving this product PS: Got it at $199 due to BHPhotoVideo deals :)

Works great to share one VGA Display with two computers, also can share a keyboard and mouse with the two computers.
