We use the Apple TV 4K all the time. Mostly YouTube and Home Sharing with iTunes for downloaded content stored on our NAS. We've tried it on WiFi and Ethernet and find Ethernet much more responsive. I would recommend getting the 128GB version just to have the ethernet port. 5 |

This Apple Thunderbolt 2 cable, was the cable needed to connect an older desktop MacPro(late 2013) computer to a OWC Thunderbolt 3 docking station(note: a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor is needed to connect the computer to a Thunderbolt 3 docking station. Netgear Gigabit 8 port switch is very useful. I have two of them at home, I use one of them inside my media console to connect my Apple TV, PS3, Receiver, VOIP phone, media center PC etc to the network. I use the other switch inside the central panel where I use it connect the Ethernet outlets across all other rooms including our office room. I have been using one of these switches for more than 1 year. For my home use, I am pretty happy with it. When I conducted some speed test, I was able to get upto 50MB/s data transfer rate, between my iMac and and HP PC. 5 |
