Connect Cisco Router To Cable Internet

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building.

I like the wireless satellite. It will allow me to connect a window PC via Ethernet cable to the internet.

This modem is a must have for anyone with cable internet. It’s very fast and well priced. I have it paired with an Orbi WiFi router.

Using with Time Warner Cable Internet which is capable of up to 300 MB/s. Not much to set up. Just make sure your internet provider knows about it. Be aware it is a pure modem and does not contain an internal router or wireless access point. If you are planning on using it for a local network you will need a separate router.

My cable provider’s internet router has such bad coverage in our house. I would try to watch my favorite shows, but was unable because my speed was 5 mbps upstairs. Getting the Orbi, my whole home now has the same excellent internet speed of 80 mbps. Plus I have added security and a simple app to control everything! Love it!

We have been having issues with our cable/internet provider for awhile now. I decided I would just purchase a router/modem instead of leasing one from the provider. My only regret I have is not getting this sooner! We have no dead zones in our house and the best part is I can now watch tv in my work shop because the wifi signal is super strong! I bought this cable modem to avoid renting one for internet from my internet provider. I've only had it for 9 days but appears to be working for my house, so I am happy with my internet access and speed at this point. It was easy to set up and pair with the router I bought, so I can say it is very user friendly for non-techy types. :-) I found researching other users' reviews from several websites helpful in determining which modem and router would work best with my internet provider and my household. I believe my purchases are worth the money spent and will meet my needs for awhile.

I got this when I transferred to cable internet. I use it in combination with the Netgear RAX 45 Nighthawk router. They both work very well, I am very happy.

I bought this cable just to have a more stable internet connection from my main router. It work perfect. No more drop signal during zoom meetings.
