I wanted cables to connect a computer to a large TV for presentations. This is exactly what I did and it works great.

This converter works well to connect a computer to a TV. This converter will not work to connect an HDMI source, like a DVD player, to a computer monitor. As long as you use it the way it was intended you'll be happy.
