Connect Desktop To Wifi Without Ethernet Cable

The fact that I have to be in the same WiFi network is annoying. Also it doesn't connect to my ethernet connected desktop computer.

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.

I needed some extra ethernet ports for my internet. Wifi is nice but ethernet is boss for desktop and TV. It was easy to install and worked as stated. Checked internet speed and it showed 950 meg. This setup will allow me to install a second wifi 50 ft. out in the garage for outdoor use.

It is easy to set up and having 2 ethernet ports allows you to hardwire a device as well as use wifi using this one device. If you intend to put this throughout your house, you can look into purchasing a ethernet switch that has POE built in which eliminates the need to have a power device (included with this product) for every access point. If you decide to use the included POE, think of connecting it at the ethernet home run rather than at the point where you intend to place the wifi. I know this is intuitive when I write this, but it sometimes is not what you first think of doing. Great product.

I have a wifi only laptop that I wanted to use to test a newly purchased IP camera on. The adapter allowed me to connect a ethernet cable to my IP camera for testing. After giving the adapter a IP address in the same range as the camera my system connect with the camera perfectly. I would highly recommend this adapter for anyone needing to add ethernet wired access to there wifi laptop.

Very good , one issue I had is that it wouldn't connect to wifi untill I plugged in an ethernet cord after which I'm assuming it updated for who knows how long

I like the wireless satellite. It will allow me to connect a window PC via Ethernet cable to the internet.

It provides very fast wifi and cable connections. I signed up for gigabit ethernet from my provider and my ethernet speed test was approximately 930 mb/s download. Wifi speed test was approximately 700 mb/s without being right next to the router. The user interface for the cell phone app is extremely easy to use. Very happy with my purchase, and the customer service from B&H.
