This Apple Thunderbolt 2 cable, was the cable needed to connect an older desktop MacPro(late 2013) computer to a OWC Thunderbolt 3 docking station(note: a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor is needed to connect the computer to a Thunderbolt 3 docking station. The original drive was cloned to the Lexar drive using an Inatek Docking station. The Lexar drive was then put into the computer and it worked correctly. 5 |

This hard drive docking station is terific in a lab environment or anywhere you need to format or image a large volume of drives. It supports both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch drives over USB 3.0 so speed is not an issue. When connecting the smaller 2.5 inch drives a plastic shield pops up to protect the internals from dust, etc. If I had to change one thing about this docking station it would be to have a similar protection shield when no drives are in use but this is only a minor annoyance. I neglected to back up my hard drive and then my computer died. Did some searching on how to remove the hard drive and how to access the hard drive. Docking Station worked great, and it's fast. Got free shipping, and the price was better than Amazon. Very happy to fix my stupidity. 5 |

It's extremely portable to take and connect on the go, and has a very professional style/appearance to go with it. With multiple USB ports, 2 HDMI's, audio in/out, and even an SD card reader.. this docking station makes it more than easy to connect any and all devices seamlessly. The USB-C provides for long lasting fast charging as well which is a huge plus. If you are like me and have a workstation with multiple monitors, dual audio outputs needed, etc.. then this product is the one for you! 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the market for a high quality docking station! 5 |
