Using with Time Warner Cable Internet which is capable of up to 300 MB/s. Not much to set up. Just make sure your internet provider knows about it. Be aware it is a pure modem and does not contain an internal router or wireless access point. If you are planning on using it for a local network you will need a separate router. 5 |

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building. 5 |

I needed to connect my RJ45 FiOS internet cable directly to my laptop in order to get top speed from the FiOS service. My laptop did NOT have a RJ45 port so this adapter, converting RJ45 to USB, solved the problem. Definitely Plug 'n Play installation. 5 |
