Connect Laptop To Monitor For Dual Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this monitor. It even comes with a folio/stand with one magnetic end. You can fold it into a triangle and place it behind the monitor several different ways to get your preferred viewing angle. I prefer a more upright position that what they have pictured so I place mine vertically behind the monitor instead of horizontally. And as a bonus, you can unfold the folio stand and use it to cover the monitor when you travel. The small magnetic end would fold around to the back. I place the unfolded folio stand between the laptop screen and the laptop and place them in the bag together. It's barely over 1/4" thick. Also, you can connect the USBc cable to either side of the monitor depending on whether you prefer it to the left or right of the laptop. I have mine paired with an LG Gram 17" laptop and although the laptop screen is slightly wider than the portable one, there's really very little difference. There's a brightness control on the side of the monitor and you can control scale, resolution, and orientation via software settings. My LG Gram has a USBc port that I can connect the monitor to but I prefer to connect them both via an IVIIN Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station (Dual Monitor 4K or Single 8K@60Hz). There's several extra ports for connecting other things like charging your watch or phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been very helpful when I need an extra space or screen when connecting my laptop. Colors are fantastic and the screen is easy on my eyes unlike other lcd monitors. I like looking at the 120 hz on my laptop and on the monitor. I think the light in the back is cool but I just leave it on yellow for ambient light. I wish there was a usb c port in the back so I could connect a thunderbolt 4 style display output, so I only need to connect one cable for power and display output from my laptop. Also, when I am choosing the extend display option, Sometimes, when i'm watching youtube videos from the monitor and doing something web browsing on my laptop, the monitor flickers on and off. I think this might be more a windows display handling issue rather than the displays fault. Because when I select '2nd screen only' this flickering and sound interruption doesn't happen. I don't remember these issues with my previous monitor when connected with usb c to my previous laptop. When i'm doing document work, it seems fine though. 4k is helpful.

I recently upgraded to this monitor. I've been using it for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. I thought screen on my laptop was good, and upgraded to this monitor for more real estate (bigger monitor), but the picture is so much better than my laptop screen it is like night and day. I process on average 300 real estate photos per day, and often times much more, as well as several real estate videos per week. This monitor has already improved my work flow and confidence in my final product. the on board speakers aren't bad, but I wouldn't buy the monitor for the sound ;-) I find the multiple inputs to be more useful than I expected. I utilize the HDMI to connect to my lap top and the Display port to connect to my PC. it is very easy to toggle between inputs utilizing the button on the bottom of the monitor. allowing me to use this monitor on two different machines.

I absolutely love this dual screen for my laptop. It also came with extra magnets to be able to switch the dual screen between laptops.

using this to connect a new Macbook Pro laptop to an older Apple 24 monitor. Monitor still looks great, and this adapter works perfectly to prolong the life of this 10-year old monitor.

This second monitor has changed how I am able to work remotely! It was simple to connect and works great with any device. The ease of having it attached to my Chromebook makes it portable. The dual monitors helps to provide the visual space needed to be efficient in my work. I highly recommend for educators and others who need to space of 2 monitors that will display different windows. You don't have to spend a fortune to have the ease of dual monitors!

Bought this to connect a dual link monitor to the Display Port connector on a PNY Quadro P2000 GPU. Works great.
