I use this to connect my remote controlled mp3 player to sound systems for my shows. I love using the 1/8 inch connection, it's much simpler and an easier cable to carry than the 1/8 to RCA. And the summing of the stereo channels to mono seems to be flawless with this DI. It is the perfect companion for anyone who presents shows or lectures using an iPod, computer, or just about any stereo input source to mono Canon XLR inputs. It's a little bit bigger and bulkier than the comparable Ross, but for the difference in price the rugged construction and input options far outweighed the convenience of the smaller size.

My new car has an aux jack on the radio, so I use this cable to connect my MP3 player to the radio. Works perfectly.

I'm using this cable to run from an MP3 player back to an amp and them back out to a speaker. consiering the length of the run, I need to ensure that the signal is clean over a significant distance. The gold terminals help with the connections since this is not an indoor connection, though semi-protected. The 3.5mm plug has a satisfying snug and positive fit. The XLR's are equally exact fitting and secure. The insulation is decent and the whole cable has a nice quality feel to it. I look forward to years of use out of it.. I ordered another cable identical to this one because I was really happy with Sescom. I really liked having a cable that goes directly from 3.5mm to SLR.

I have an old speaker base that I use for a Sansa mp3 player. Thanks to this little unit I can now play Pandora from my smart phone directly to those speakers without using any wires.

Good compact MP3 player

The compact design delivers high performance sound with a rich output. The soundbar is half the length of traditional soundbars and delivers clear vocals, while the subwoofer delivers a round deep baseline without the distortion you get from other subwoofers. This subwoofer has anti-vibration so no rattling noise. Out of the box is an easy setup. It only takes 15-25 minutes to plug and play. It has very little wiring, unlike so many other surround sound systems. It has bluetooth enabled for your mp3 player. I was actually able to set it up without the pamphlet. There is an LG app for the product that you download to your phone to further control the equalizer, while it also has a basic remote control. This compact design fills any sized room without taking up a lot of space. I love the eas of being able to switch from my gaming device, to the firestick or fire tv, or to my mp3 player. Before ii had each device hooked up separately. Movies sound like you're in a movie theater, gaming makes me feel as if I'm immersed in the game. And listening to my music wirelessly is such an amazing experience. I'm impressed with this system, yet I'm not surprised as LG products never disappoint. I've been using the larger version of this briefcase for a long time now to house a small mixer, wireless receiver and mp3 player to form the control center of my small sound system. Now I'm packing just the mp3 player and the wireless mic system in this smaller case to fly overseas for shows. I have ultimate faith in Pelican cases to protect my gear and still be much lighter than traditional Anvil type cases. Love it.
