Connect Router To Apartment Internet

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building.

I live in a 900sq ft prewar row style nyc apartment and the internet couldn't reach the living room to the bed room. The nest is amazing, strong and consistent connection. It's also a pretty good speaker.

The CM1000 is relatively easy to set up, and offers fast internet speeds for an apartment of 4 people, each with several devices. The range may leave something to be desired, however, and one may need to buy a Wi-Fi Extender.

I used this to connect my iMac to my router...works great!
