The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. While replacing my old modem with an updated model I accidently set a shook through my old Asus Router that apparently toasted it. The only router I could get instore without ordering and having a two to three day wait was Netgear. Installed the competitor’s router that day, within twenty-four hours, my WI-FI network went down requiring a Technical service call. With the help of the Technician my Wi-Fi network was up and running again. However, every other day after that my network would go down, requiring a power-down and restart of the router. A week later I ordered the ASUS RT-AX3000 router, installed it and returned the competitor’s router. The ASUS router was easy to install, has been trouble free and works great. Even has the range to provide WI-FI signal to my pole barn where I previously only a signal using a WI-FI extender. I highly recommend the ASUS RT-AX3000 Router! 5 |
