The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building. 5 |

Awsome...this router was an upgrade from a very old linksys router. There is no way to compair this. The wifi 7 is blazing fast. There is only one down side and that is the wifi 7 range, but thats where the wifi 6 comes in. 5 |

I tried the Linksys WRT1900AC and the WRT3200AC and had nothing but issues with both of them dropping internet connectivity and needing to be rebooted constantly. I own a Synology NAS DS1513+ and absolutely love it. That is why I took a chance on this. I upgraded from an Airport Extreme that just couldn't handle the number of devices I have or the range I needed. This runs the same OS that their Diskstation's do. This is very customizable and easy to set up. It's been running flawless for 2 weeks now. I am using the Intrusion Prevention app and the VPN Plus app. The parental controls are great for metering the kid's iPads along with making sure they are not accessing material they shouldn't be. I couldn't be happier to find an advanced router that works as it should and gives me the customization that I needed. 5 |

Replaced a 6 year old linksys wireless router with this unit. My first time with a mesh system. Setup was very easy. All devices connected quickly. Internet throughput is so much better with this unit. I am using Verizon 5G home internet with this router. Getting nearly 300 mbps download consistently. I get a strong wifi signal all over my house (3300 sq ft) and outside. I am very happy with this unit. 5 |

I purchased this to replace an aging Linksys router that was no longer up to the task of handling the number of smart home devices currently in use. I spent considerable time deciding between brands, specs, and cost before choosing XT8. Setup was as easy as it gets; the Asus app is a big step up from my previous Linksys app, and aided in making the setup smooth w/no hiccups. So far, performance has improved across all devices, and I no longer experience some of the issues I had with my previous system. All in all, a great system at a nice price point. 5 |

I replaced an expensive Linksys router with this one and my only wish is that I had done this sooner. Like the Ubiquiti switches, this is fairly simple to configure and install but also offers some very advanced settings for those that want to utilize those. It runs cool and quiet and made a dramatic difference in the speed and quality of both my LAN and WAN connections. Shown in picture with rack mount kit, not included with router. 5 |

I purchased this AP to replace a Linksys EA6900 router that I had setup as an AP. I am VERY satisfied. The setup did require me to contact tech support which was also very helpful. It was only a minor issue but if you are not familiar with networking, don't hesitate to contact them. The AP provides very good range and led signals to help indicate the status. I have set this AP up in my attic and also utilized the USB port on the AP to install an AC Infinity USB fan since it is in the attic. The AP is very light and small in terms of size. The Unif Controller is very helpful in managing the AP but remember, it cannot be managed remotely. You must connect your laptop to the router or switch in order to manage the AP. The controller provides many tools to help your identify which AP is being widely used and which devices are connected to which AP. I slowly converted out of Linksys Routers that I had set up as APs. Although my routing is being done by a Linksys WRT1900 ACS which is a great combo! Overall, the AP is very reliable and provides great range. The current price is perfect and you should definitely consider implementing one into your network! 5 |

I moved from an older Linksys consumer router to this. Even though it's not the latest greatest anymore, it's definitely an improvement over what I had. I'm pairing this with another company's access point to cover my house. As others have probably said in different reviews, this device is more complicated to set up than a typical Linksys or Netgear router, but there are guides available to help through the process. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from Linksys. My router was not old but slowing down. This AX4200 is amazingly fast both wired and wifi. Easy to use. Netgear will be my brand going forward. 5 |
