Connect Wifi Extender With Ethernet Cable

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.

I ran out of holes to connect Ethernet cables, so I tried to use wireless. After 4 hours of trying to get a wireless extender to work (Netgear) I opted for wired switch, which took less time to get working than the time I took running Cat6e. It was real plug-n-play, my equipment never knew I changed switches. Did I ever tell you I don't like wireless? I get full 1 GB service anywhere in the house. My longest run is 50 ft.

I recently needed to connect a tablet to my network via Ethernet, rather than WiFi. The tablet lacks an Ethernet jack, so I needed a USB-C device that would provide one; this docking station filled the bill, and I appreciate the other connectivity it offers at a reasonable price and small size.

Rather than constantly connect to the stronger wifi signal as I roam around my brick city home, I now amy able to connect to one SSID that hands me off to each hotspot seamlessly. It is easy to set up and having 2 ethernet ports allows you to hardwire a device as well as use wifi using this one device. If you intend to put this throughout your house, you can look into purchasing a ethernet switch that has POE built in which eliminates the need to have a power device (included with this product) for every access point. If you decide to use the included POE, think of connecting it at the ethernet home run rather than at the point where you intend to place the wifi. I know this is intuitive when I write this, but it sometimes is not what you first think of doing. Great product.

The fact that I have to be in the same WiFi network is annoying. Also it doesn't connect to my ethernet connected desktop computer.

I have a wifi only laptop that I wanted to use to test a newly purchased IP camera on. The adapter allowed me to connect a ethernet cable to my IP camera for testing. After giving the adapter a IP address in the same range as the camera my system connect with the camera perfectly. I would highly recommend this adapter for anyone needing to add ethernet wired access to there wifi laptop.

Very good , one issue I had is that it wouldn't connect to wifi untill I plugged in an ethernet cord after which I'm assuming it updated for who knows how long

I like the wireless satellite. It will allow me to connect a window PC via Ethernet cable to the internet.

I needed and extender to connect my Ubiquiti Disc to extend the Wifi to my garage. My Tesla now gets its updates without issue. The garage is one floor up and 3-4 walls away. I'm impressed with this device. It was easy to install. I'm a novice but was able to download the Ubiqiti app and see it connect to the network. You must have access to your UnifiNetwork for it to work. Thanks to B&H customer service i got the right tool for the job.

It provides very fast wifi and cable connections. I signed up for gigabit ethernet from my provider and my ethernet speed test was approximately 930 mb/s download. Wifi speed test was approximately 700 mb/s without being right next to the router. The user interface for the cell phone app is extremely easy to use. Very happy with my purchase, and the customer service from B&H.
