I have a wifi only laptop that I wanted to use to test a newly purchased IP camera on. The adapter allowed me to connect a ethernet cable to my IP camera for testing. After giving the adapter a IP address in the same range as the camera my system connect with the camera perfectly. Used this for a elevator camera conversion. This allows you to use a single BNC coax cable to power and connect a Ethernet POE camera. You only need to supply 24vdc to the near end converter. It also extends the operational distance limitations. very nice 5 |
