I am using two older HP monitors, HP w2408h and HP w2338h to interface with my HP (Windows 10 only) Pavillion desktop until the windows 10 update cut off happens next year. This is plug-and-play: it worked right out of the box on my Mac, and also on a Windows-based laptop I use for another job, connecting to my Sony FX6. I had to figure out, through trial and error, that the frame rate I send out of the camera must be 29.97 in order for the computer to understand the signal. But once I had that sorted, I wound up with an image far superior to my webcam. 5 |
